Authorities are on the scene of a Tuesday afternoon house fire in Essex.
At about 3 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the 1900 block of Old Eastern Avenue.
Reports indicate that a vehicle hit a utility pole, causing wires to fall on the house and ignite.
The driver of the vehicle is being evaluated at this time.
Motorists should avoid the area.
