House fire reported in Joppa

House FireCrews are on the scene of a Friday afternoon house fire in Joppa.

At about 1:45 p.m. on Friday, emergency personnel responded to the 100 block of Fitzhugh Road.

At the scene, firefighters found smoke showing from the rear, enclosed porch of a single-family residence.

There has been no word on any injuries.

The Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire Department, and Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company are responding to the scene.


Motorists should use caution in the area.
