Police investigate local burglaries, shooting attempt

Police GraphicPolice are investigating several local burglaries and a shooting attempt that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on May 25, an individual broke into a residence on Sagebrush Court in Nottingham (21236) by kicking in a rear window. The suspect then stole electronic equipment, food, sports equipment and a tool.

Sometime between 3 p.m. on May 25 and 8 a.m. on May 26, an individual gained access to a house under construction in the 8700 block of Cowenton Avenue in Perry Hall (21128) and stole several items before fleeing the scene.

Sometime between 3 p.m. on May 25 and 6 a.m. on May 26, an individual broke into the Whiting Turner construction site office located in the 4800 block of Joppa Road in Perry Hall (21128). Once inside, the suspect(s) took electronic equipment and spray painted the interior of the building before fleeing.

At just after 6:15 p.m. on May 26, two armed individuals approached a man outside of his motel room in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237). The man tried to flee, and the suspects fired shots at him, missing him. The suspects fled on foot after damaging the victim’s vehicle.
