Crews battling brush fire at Gunpowder State Park

Brush FireEmergency crews are on the scene of a Thursday evening brush fire at a local state park. 

At just after 6 p.m., the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported that two of its units were responding to Gunpowder State Park for a report of a fire. 

The Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company has also responded to the scene. 

There are reportedly approximately four acres on fire in the area near Gilbar Drive and Juniper Road in Kingsville off of Mount Vista Road.

There has been no word on any injuries or what caused the fire.
