Police are investigating a series of burglaries that have been reported in the Essex and Middle River areas over the past week.
Between 6 p.m. April 26 and 11 a.m. April 27, someone broke into a shed along Yawmeter Drive, 21220, and stole a dirt bike.
At just before 2 a.m. on April 27, an individual forced his way into a shed in the 700 block of Middlesex Road, 21221, and stole a dirt bike.
Between 9 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. on April 28, an individual damaged the front door to a residence in the 9800 block of Tailspin Lane, 21220, then entered and stole several items.
Between 2 p.m. on April 28 and 8 a.m. on April 29, an individual kicked in a door in the 100 block of Alberge Lane, 21220. The suspect entered the residence but took nothing.
Between midnight and 7 a.m. on April 29, an individual or individuals kicked open the side door to the detached garage in the 1200 block of East Homberg Avenue, 21221, then stole three dirt bikes.
At 9 p.m. on April 29, an individual pushed in the door to a residence in the 700 block of Maple Crest Drive, 21220. Although the lock and door frame were damaged, the suspect did not make entry into the residence.
