Essex convenience store robbed at gunpoint

robberyPolice are investigating after a convenience store in Essex was robbed this week.

At just after 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, an armed man  entered the Royal Farms store located in the 1000 block of Old Eastern Avenue, 21221.

The man demanded cash from the register.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene.

No one was injured in the incident.
