Middle River machete attack leads to assault charges

AssaultPolice have arrested and charged a man who threatened his brother with a machete in Middle River.

At 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, police responded to the 9500 block of Pulaski Highway, 21220, for a report of a domestic disturbance.

At the scene, authorities found that two brothers had gotten into a heated argument over buying more alcohol.

One of the brothers retrieved a machete out of his vehicle and attacked his brother, threatening to kill him.


The brother was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.

The assailant has not yet been identified by police.
