Man robbed at gunpoint outside Overlea tavern

RobberyPolice are investigating after a man was robbed at gunpoint outside of an Overlea bar last week.

At about 11 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, the victim was approached by three suspects outside of the Elmwood Tavern, located in the 4400 block of Kenwood Avenue.

Two of the suspects grabbed the man’s arms and dragged him around the building while a third suspect produced a handgun.

The suspects stole his wallet, cash and a cell phone.


An investigation is ongoing.
