Pedestrian struck in Parkville

Crews were responding to the scene of an accident in which a pedestrian was struck in Parkville on Saturday night.

At about 8:30 p.m., emergency personnel reported to the intersection of Harford Road and Emerald Road.

At the scene, responders found that a pedestrian had been struck.  Harford Road is shut down in both directions.

The patient is now being transported to a medical facility with moderate injuries.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
